This is the story of the Gilmour Tramway, which was a horse drawn railway and steam powered jackladder for portaging large pine logs from Lake Mazinaw, to the Moira River to float them to a huge saw mill in Trenton Ontario in the 1880s. This booklet was the results of a successful and productive archaeological dig of the site, archival work and interviews locally. There are numerous colour photos of the site and artifacts. The booklet has 22 pages.
